Although this is very much the sneak peek, I still wanted to throw in some portraits.

When people hear “portraits” – and often when photographers say it – it usually brings to mind the “Stand this way; look this way,” kind. When I say portraits, I mean the “Yessss! I can tell you’ve just forgotten about me and are totally swept up in each other,” kind. The three shots at the end of this post are those. And they’re the kind of portraits I strive for.

I want to get portraits that represent you: the ones that catch your mannerisms. They’re also the ones that get the looks you give each other (that no one can fake). They get the laughter as you remember a cute joke, or the breathlessness when you realize you’re so perfectly, happily married.
