The oh so adorable Sonia, such a relaxed, happy little baby, and why not with two incredibly loving parents and a sweet little cat and dog team to boot. I love doing in-home newborn sessions. You can’t really bring everyone, all the toys, the bassinet, the clothes and the dog to a studio; you don’t have your life story around you. Here we’ve got Sonia on her parent’s bed, that soft light from their own windows, the outfit knitted by a friend, and what you can’t see are all the things that allow her to relax and be happy; familiar sights, sounds and smells, she knows she’s home.
