Nitasha and David were married at Pauatahanui Inlet on a gorgeous, sun-filled day. But even the sun couldn’t rival the beautiful light and colour on show all day… not to mention the couple bubbling over with happiness. The couple had a traditional Indian ceremony, and as I read through the run sheet for the ceremony, I saw that Nitasha had elaborated on what each of the 7 steps mean during Saptapadi. Under the last step it said, “Live as lifelong partners and friends.†I was struck by the beauty, truth, and simplicity of that statement. There are so many moving parts in a wedding day, so many things that can go wrong and go right… but at the end of the day, you have your lifelong partner and friend by your side. What could be more perfect than that?
