I’m having the best time right now putting together album designs, and sifting through all the Queensberry options for the awesome couples whose wedding I shot last summer. Right now I’ve just started in on Sylvester and Cordelia’s album. They were one of a handful of couples who had to battle the elements this summer after finding out their wedding had an unexpected guest; cyclone Lusi. Fortunately the weather wasn’t too bad where their venue was, but we still made the best of it and snuck off for some extra photos a few days later in that soft light that comes after a storm. Extra bonus meant that way they had photos not just from their wedding venue, which was quite far out of Wellington, but also all around the Botanic Gardens and up on Mount Victoria, a pretty awesome silver lining!
Beautiful portraits. That first one is awesome and I really love the use of hard light.
Love the light here! Beautiful shots!
That second shot. The lighting. Absolutely wonderful.
That first shot is so dream-like. Beautiful!
That first shot is unreal. What a view.
If the rest of the photographs are anything like these they will be delighted, really lovely.
Great use of light and location!
Great little peek – that first shot is a total winner!

Beautiful photos, great use of light! I love the black and white on the bench.
Nice work – such a variety in a small set. Well done.
