There’s this part of the wedding day, right after getting ready, where if all goes to plan, a 5 minute window of time appears where I can sneak in a few shots of the bride. It’s something I really like shooting because not only is it a calm, lovely time, but the location (usually a personal one) is always fascinating. There’ll be a little nook in the garden where sunlight filters through; a rainy window in the dining room; or a doorstep; all just begging to be used as backdrops. In this case, Zoe (how cool is her wedding dress!?) chose a Martinborough home owned by the auntie of one of her bridesmaids. The house was steeped in history, with a cute little cottage garden filled with pink flowers, a rustic fence and overhanging trees. It all seemed to fit Zoe perfectly. I can’t wait to finish processing Zoe and Steve’s wedding; every time I click to the next image, someone is laughing and having the time of their lives. It was an amazing day, but for now, here are a few taken early on:
So beautiful!
Beautiful <3 She has a beautiful smile. I love those moments too.
Cool you got to photograph this wedding! She looks gorgeous!
So lovely, Mary! I can’t wait to see the wedding to see more of the aunt’s house. That fence is too perfect a backdrop 🙂
